Free tool · Negative keywords

Every way your brand is typed, as negatives.

Google's negative keywords don't reach close variants, so a misspelling nobody added can still show an ad. Type your brand and get the list to ask your partners for.

Your negatives

0 keywords · 0 lines

Type your brand's name to build the list.

In Google Ads' notation: “quotes” for phrase match, [brackets] for exact, nothing for broad. Paste the lines into a negative keyword list or a campaign's negative keywords.

How to use the list

Ask for it, then check it.
  • 1 / 04

    Put it in your terms

Say that your brand terms must be negative keywords on every paid-search campaign, and attach this list. The terms builder writes the clause.

  • 2 / 04

Phrase match does most of the work

A phrase match negative on your brand already blocks “yourbrand discount code”. The spellings and spacings catch what it doesn't, because negatives don't stretch to close variants.

  • 3 / 04

    Ask to see it

When a partner's ad shows on your brand, ask for their negative keyword list and compare it with this one. A missing spelling is a specific question to ask.

  • 4 / 04

    Then check the searches

A list is a promise; the results page is what happened. Check your brand to see who appeared on its searches this week.
